Zinedine Zidane To Replace Jose Mourinho

Date:

Manchester United fans in Nigeria have called on the management of the team to hire former France captain and ex Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane after the sacking of Jose Mourinho on Tuesday.

In an online poll conducted after the sack, fans favored the former Real Madrid playmaker with 63 percent why former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was the shock of the list getting 16 percent of votes while former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte got 10 percent of the votes while 11 percent of the votes went to indifferent voters.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has sympathized with Mourinho after the sack stating that the former Chelsea handler was always a competitive customer. “He’s a very competitive guy, very ambitious and he has all my respect.

“He has been unbelievably successful, and I can believe the last few months were not enjoyable for nobody. It’s not nice when you have to face these questions every day, but nobody can take away all the things he has won.”

Despite the sympathies, research has it that Klopp has been indirectly involved in three of Mourinho’s firing as he has always lost to Klopp before his sacks.

Dortmound 3 – 1 Madrid. Mourinho sacked a week later.

Liverpool 3 – 1 Chelsea Mourinho sacked a week later.

Liverpool 3 – 1 Man United Mourinho sacked 2 days after.

Mourinho as manager of Manchester United was in charge of 144 games, 84 wins, 32 draws and 28 losses.
