AS Torino of Italy defender, Ola Aina has disclosed that the array of young yet talented players in the Super Eagles made it easier for him to settle down with the squad.
Aina, who is on loan at Torino from Chelsea, said he has been able to get his form in the Eagles, and feel a lot more comfortable with each passing match, because the team is loaded with players of experience, in spite of their young ages.
Aina, who previously played for England’s U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 teams, said he has been made to relish making the switch in allegiance to play for Nigeria at senior level, and stressed that he enjoys every day with the squad.
The dark-skinned full back expatiated: “It is good for my development to be here, this is a vibrant squad. I enjoy the football aspect too.
”Everyone helped to make my transition into the team smooth. It has been very helpful to me.
“I am enjoying myself every time I join up and I enjoy meeting up with the squad every time.
”To be on the international scene is good for me because I am playing with such good players.
