Aliyu Zubair sees strong Kogi United

Date:

Akwa United assistant coach Aliyu Zubair is looking forward to his team’s FA Cup match against Kogi United on Wednesday.

The coach took time to reflect on how he sees his team playing.
“We know of the difficulty in facing a team like Kogi United, who are doing very well and are led by coach Tunde Abdulrahman, who is doing a great job, they are very strong,” Aliyu Zubair began of Kogi United to Footballlive.ng.
He then focused on his own side, speaking of their ‘motivation’ to follow up Monday’s 1-0 win over Wikki Tourists.
“We are doing well with this approach of going game by game and we will take each game as a final until the end.”
“The aim is to quickly wrap up our place in the quarter final of the Aiteo Cup. That means winning on Wednesday against Kogi United. It’s a possible mission.”
