Kano Pillars Football Club were in high spirit as they defeated FC Yarmalight in a 5 goal thriller at the on-going AHLAN pre-season tournament.
Defending Champions dredged Yarmalight FC to come out with an outright victory after only being able to grab a one-all draw in their opening match against the South South Militant, Delta Force FC.
Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.com.ng is the interim coach of Kano Pillars, Kabiru Baleria who said, “It was a great day for me. I am thankful to God as this was an exciting game because my players played according to instructions.”
He added that the result marks the beginning of a new dawn for the Kano Pillars as the team would only go higher in terms of improvement and achievements.
The Kano Pillars gaffer concluded by saying changes in personnel, tactics and players adhering strictly to his instructions yielded the result against FC Yarmalight.
