Torreira beats Iwobi, Leno and Holding to November player of the month award.

Arsenal combative midfielder Lucas Torreira has been named as the club’s player of the month for the outgone month of November ahead of Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi, Three Lions defender Rob Holding and Germany goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The Uruguayan star has been in superb form since joining the Gunners from Sampdoria in the summer also scoring two goals in his last three appearances for the club and winning the man of the match award in five consecutive matches starting from the 1 – 1 dra against table toppers Liverpool in the first week of November.

According to the polls conducted by the club on it’s social media accounts and website, Torreira received a total of 70 percent of the vote cast to win the award with Bernd Leno, Rob Holding and Alex Iwobi coming second, third and fourth respectively.
