Former Coach Speaks On Coaching Education

Date:

Former super eagles assistant coach, Usman Abdallah has suggested ideas on how to better train home based coaches. Abdallah highlighted that the national team jobs do not require a regular amount and that coaches could be sent to learn with club sides to better their knowledge base.

In his exact words, Abdallah said:

“We play qualifying series and the next match is after four months. That four months, I say send us to foreign clubs, maybe Italy or maybe Barcelona or probably in that, and let us work with the coaches for attachment for one month. Give us a program, an organization of defense that lets us go and do in Italy”.

“We could go to Paris and Japan and do an organization of attacking building, going to just, and we spend one, one year. And you know, it might cost nothing to Nigeria”.
