Kano Pillars striker, Junior Lokosa has ruled out the possibility of ill feelings from him at Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr for dropping him from the World Cup-bound squad.
Rather than feel bad about his exclusion from the Eagles’ final list, after making the 30-player provisional roster earlier on, Lokosa, who is current top scorer in Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) said he is at peace with Rohr.
Lokosa said is happy that he made his Eagles debut against DR Congo, during a friendly in Port Harcourt, and says he will remain grateful to Rohr for making it possible.
He was eventually dropped alongside Plateau United of Jos goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye, Liege of Belgium defender, Uche Agbo and ex-Pillars stopper, Stephen, before they were joined by Moses Simon, Ola Aina, Mikel Agu and Uche Agbo from the squad to Russia.
However, having made his international debut under Rohr, Lokosa, who has scored 18 goals in 21 games for Sai Masu Gida this season, said he is pleased with the experience.
