Mohammed Kudus Sidelined for Friendly Against Super Eagles

Date:

The Black Stars of Ghana are set to face a setback as star forward Mohammed Kudus will miss the upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda due to a shoulder injury.

Kudus, a former Ajax player, was initially included in coach Otto Addo’s 26-man squad for the friendlies. However, the 23-year-old sustained the injury during West Ham United’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa last weekend.

Despite completing the full 90 minutes of the match against Aston Villa, Kudus reportedly experienced post-match pain, prompting him to remain in London for his recovery.

Additionally, defender Nathaniel Adjei has also withdrawn from the squad, further impacting the Black Stars’ preparations for the upcoming fixtures.
