Following reports from various sources and outlets about the poor state of the Ahmadu Bello stadium Kaduna, the stadium manager, Gideon Malo has allayed any fears about the state of the pitch. In a chat with Footballlive.ng Malo said such stories were cooked and unfounded.

Saying that there is no problem whatsoever with the state of the pitch as it is still rainy season and that the pitch which is natural grass is in perfect condition.

He also took footballlive.ng on a tour of the state of the pitch, while also calling on Nigerians to disregard unfounded reports from sources who also based their stories on hear says.

He stresses that all is in good condition concerning the pitch should plans be concluded that Kaduna would host the first leg of  double header between Nigeria and Libya.
