Rwanda national team coach, Torsten Frank Spitller has said that it is still tough to tell what nation would pick up the automatic world cup slot from group C. Rwanda are currently joint top of group C with 7 points, alongside South Africa and Benin Republic after 4 games.
The german acknowledged that it was a difficult question at the time, as only 4 games have been played out of 10. He added that a lot of teams are still in contention and it is quite a tough call as it stands.
“It’s a very difficult question. I think only four matches out of ten have been played. So there is still a very long way to go and also everybody else even now if you talk also about your Nigerian team they still have the chance to qualify and as there is only the first one who is really going directly through the World Cup and for the second team or second ranked team it’s a very difficult process then to make it. From my perspective, I think you can’t really give an answer to your question”, the 62 year old said
