Ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification double header against The Mediterranean Knights of Libya Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu in a chat with footballlive.ng has stated that the Eagles are fully prepared for the game and are ready to prove to the Libyan coach Adel Amrouche that talk is cheap.
The former Nigerian international insists that with the current form of the invited players Nigerians need to fear no foe.
Libya coach Abdel Amrouche had thrown a swipe at the Super Eagles in September after his team played a goalless draw against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa saying he will rather play the Eagles as he sees them as a team The Mediterranean Knights can easily handle but Alloy Agu believes that football is played on the pitch and not in front of the microphones.
Alloy Agu said: “In football you can say anything you want to psyche up your team but remember that football is played on the pitch for 90 minutes and I am sure that at the end of the game we will be the ones smiling”
The goalkeeper trainer insists that the Super Eagles goalkeepers are all in good form heading into the game.
The Super Eagles face Libya at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium in Uyo on October 12 befor heading for the return leg in Tunisia to be played on October 15.
