20 years old Nigerian striker, Taofiq Jibril was visibly excited to make his professional debut by coming on in the final 9 minutes of an already lost battle to Boavista as he replaced Wilson Manafa with his team two goals down.
The young striker however told footballliveng that he felt great to have made his Portuguese top flight debut despite the home defeat and he was simply glad that his dreams of playing in top league had become a reality.
The former Royal Stars Academy, Kaduna Striker told wwwfootballlive.ng. “It is a dream come true for me and Monday August 13th 2018 is a day I would never forget as I made my Professional debut appearance to the glory of God.”
