41 Days to Russia 2018: Yobo supports Gernot Rohr to Impact World Cup

Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo has stated that he believes so much in the ability of coach Gernot Rohr and is backing the Franco-German to excel with Nigeria at the world cup in Russia.

The former Center-Back, in a chat with Brila.net, praised Rohr’s impact since taking charge in 2016.

He stressed the need for the Super Eagles to hit the ground running in the first group game against Croatia to give themselves a good chance of progressing to the next round.

‘We are all behind him, we back and support him. Rohr has been doing well and we need give him all the support.

‘Right now we must focus. The first game is crucial, if you win the first game good things can happen,’ he expresses.

Nigeria will make a sixth appearance at the world cup in Russia.

Yobo speaking on the teams chances at the world cup said all the team need to do is take things a step at a time and emphasize the importance of ensuring a good start to the world cup in Russia.
