Enyimba more confident after victory in Bamako, says Oladapo

Date:

Attacking midfielder Austin Oladapo feels Enyimba are “more confident after the victory against Djoliba in the CAF Confederation Cup Group C game.

The People’s Elephants earned a 1-0 win in Bamako on Sunday to relaunch their ambitions.

“That result gave us even more belief in our abilities,” Oladapo told Footballlive.ng.

“We had it before as well, but now we are even more confident after the victory against Djoliba..

“On Sunday we did particularly well, especially in defence, and passed an important test.”

The Aba based outfit will host Cara Brazaville in the final matchday fixture at the Enyimba International Stadium on August 29, needing a win to progress to the quarter finals of the competition.

“It’s true we only have three wins in the Confederation Cup. The victory in Bamako is positive for our progression.

“We need a victory in order to progress in the competition, which we do all care about.
