Former Sunshine of Akure striker Okiki Afolabi who just signed for ismaily Sc of Egypt has being indulged in fake document transfer saga waiting for the outcome of FIFA’s decision.
The 23-year-old striker who lastly playing for Jimma Aba Jifar where he finished as the league’s top scorer with 23 goals as they won the title on goal difference.
Ismaily had signed the Nigerian striker Afolabi, who had most recently been plying his trade in the Ethiopian league.
According to BBC correspondent Omna Taddele, the Nigerian striker , who presented a fraud document during his transfer to Egypt side Ismaily SC , is awaiting a FIFA transfer ban after the EFF Discipline Committee filed a complaint to football’s governing body.
Jimaa Aba Jifar also condemned the act of the player and inquired to the EFF Discipline Committee about fining the player. Though an apology to the EFF and the Ethiopian club from the part of Afolabi could minimize FIFA’s potential sanction, according to the report.
Okiki Afolabi who once played in the Nigerian League ,Argentina League, Ethiopian League now playing in Egyptian League it remained to be seen wither the striker will be sanctioned by FIFA.
