Gateway United central midfielder Chimezie Chibuike has urged his Gateway United team-mates to ‘go the extra mile’ to gain promotion into the Nigeria top-flight.
The Abeokuta outfit are in 5th place on the Nigeria National League Group B1 ladder with 10 points from seven games, four points adrift of leaders Bendel Insurance.
Chibuike wants his team-mates to work extra hard to push themselves to the top of the table.
“We always have to work extra hard and play like we did from the start and we will be there,” the youngster told Footballlive.ng.
The midfielder has featured in seven league games for Gateway United and contributed two goals to their campaign.
