New Super Eagles invitee, Semi Ajayi has said Nigeria’s 2019 Afcon qualifier against Seychelles is a very important game and expects the team to approach it in a very professional manner.
Ajayi, earned his first international call up to the Nigeria senior team and could feature for Gernot Rohr’s men in Victoria against the Pirates on Saturday.
The defender spoke ahead of Nigeria’s second group E where he expressed what he expects from Rohr’s patched up side after the unavailability of several regulars.
‘It is a very important game for us, we didn’t win the last game so it is very important we get back to winning ways.
‘We need to make sure that we’re focused and we don’t take it too lightly and we approach the game in a professional manner. We must play to the best of our abilities and listen to the coach and hopefully we can get a positive result,’ said the 24-year-old.
