Nigeria Manager Gernot Rohr has praised skillful lad Samuel Kalu for his magical debut for the Super Eagles in a 3-0 victory over Seychelles at Stade Linite on Saturday.
The Eagles flew past the Pirates in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier Group E fixture.
The Bordeaux winger was brilliant at the flank for the Super Eagles who annihilated their Seychelles counterparts.
“It was a good performance from Kalu. He is very quick and explosive,” Rohr said to Footballlive.ng.
“We had to find a replacement for Victor Moses at the right hand side.”
” Kalu is the man for the job. He helped us get the penalty. He is very quick and explosive.”
“I saw him at Bordeaux and he did very well. On the other side, Ahmed Musa showed quality and performed well.”
