Nasarawa United chairman Barrister Isaac Danladi believes his side deserved their 3-0 victory over Standard FC in the round 32 of the Aiteo Cup on Sunday.
The Solid Miners won thanks to goals from Najeem Olukokun, Douglas Achiv and Chineme Martins in Jos.
“There was enough about us to get the victory,” Barrister Isaac Danladi told Footballlive.ng.
“The most important thing though, is that the players had enthusiasm and excitement – and that’s what gives me peace of mind.
“The team has shown that it’s alive. The players are happy that they performed well and won.”
