Former Rangers International Striker, Razak Adegbite as spoken to footballive after his team, Primero De Agosto knocked Congo’s, TP Mazembe out of the CAF Champions League quarterfinals on away goals.
Razak Adegbite described the players as being extremely happy with picking the CAF Champions League semifinal ticket at the expense of the top Congolese club, TP Mazembe who have a rich pedigree on the Continent.
The first leg ended in Angola as a barren draw before the Primero De Agosto goalkeeper’s heroics in the second leg by saving two penalties was enough to keep the score line as 1-1 draw and ensure that the Angolan qualified on the away goal rule.
The Striker whose team stand a chance of doing a double said, “We have the chance of doing a double having already won the Angolan Premiere League and we are determined to complete the double.”
Angolans, Primero De Agosto now host Esperance of Tunisia in the first leg of the CAF Champions League Semifinal.
