Super Eagles right full back, Shehu Abdullahi has been invited back to the Super Eagles camp after being ruled out of the previous matches against Seychelles and Liberia with injury.
Shehu Abdullahi has spoken to *Footballive about his excitement at being invited by Coach Rohr for the double header against Libya.
Speaking to www.footballive.ng, Abdullahi said, I am excited to get the invitation back to the Senior National team. It is my country and I am always willing and eager to represent my country whenever called upon.
On missing out on the previous call up, he said, “It was quite unfortunate for me that injury had to rule me out of the previous matches, but i am back, fit and sound to play as required of me.”
Shehu Abdullahi has been a main feature for Turkish club, Bursaspor since returning from his early season injury and had received a medical clear to play consistently by the club
Shehu went on to sincerely appreciate the technical crew for giving him another opportunity to represent the Nigeria senior national team.
“I am mentally and physically fit for the task ahead I am willing to give my very best by contributing my own quota to the success of the team.”
The former Kano Pillars player concluded by saying he would be in camp as soon as it got opened.
