Musa Gets Birthday Greetings After 4-0 Win

Date:

Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia attacker, Ahmed Musa has received a shower of birthday greetings, following an addition to his years on earth less than 24 hours after captaining the Super Eagles to victory against Libya, as gathered by footballllive.ng from various sources.

Musa, who had previously played for Kano Pillars, VV Venlo of Holland, CSKA Moscow of Russia and Leicester City of England, captained Nigeria in style once again, he provided an assist on the Eagles’ third goal in a superlative performance in Uyo.

Little wonder that Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) led the shower of encomiums and felicitations for the fleet-footed attacker, who earlier made history by becoming Nigeria’s highest scorer in World Cup history with two well-taken goals in a 2-0 spanking of Iceland at Russia 2018.

Musa would go on to receive a rain of greetings all through Saturday and Sunday, as several Nigerian soccer fans, personalities, journalists and players joined in the race to outdo one another in hailing him.

It was a rain of sweet words and encouragement for Musa from all his well-wishers, most of who went on to dedicate Saturday’s 4-0 victory against Libya to him, with the NFF adding their wishes for him to keep doing well for club and country.

The NFF’s message on their Twitter handle read: “Happy Birthday to @NGSuperEagles Forward, @ahmedmusa718. Keep scoring, keep shining, keep soaring.”
