Super Eagles skipper, John Obi Mikel has hailed the performance of the Super Eagles after the game against Libya in Uyo on Saturday. The Super Eagles defeated their North African counterparts by 4 goals to nil.
Mikel, who missed out due to some fitness concerns having only just returned from injury at his Chinese club side, Tianjin Teda, congratulated the team for their performance and team spirit.
In a post on instagram, the captain also congratulated fellow china-based forward, Odion Jude Ighalo for scoring a hat-trick in the game.
He wrote, “Congratulations to the team! Amazing game, Good team spirit, and also congratulations Ighalo on hat-trick.” To which Ighalo replied “Thanks so much skippo.”
The team is already preparing for the return leg against Libya on Tuesday.
