Rovaniemen Palloseura RoPS of Finland defender, Taye Ismaila Taiwo (The Tornado) says he is glad to extended his contract with the Finnish Veikkausliiga side, though footballlive.ng learnt it is for only one season.
The new deal will keep Taiwo at RoPS until November 2019, and the former Super Eagles left-back said he feels important and relevant with the opportunity to continue with an ambitious club in Scandinavia.
The ace defender, also fondly called ‘TT’ by close friends, also retorted: ”RoPS wants to play good football, and it was important to me.
“We all work together. The whole team knows they trust me. That, of course, motivates and puts you into working double more.”
