Watford striker, Isaac Success has hailed The Hornets’ training regime and tactics for the gaol he scored at the weekend, as he acknowledged it was a product of concise team work.
Success added his delight to finally start making a mark for himself with the club, as he has overcome the battles with injuries that have riddle his career all this while, footballlive.ng can report.
The product of BJ Foundation of Benin City said he was excited to net in his side’s 3-0 victory against Huddersfield Town, marking his first English Premier League goal for Watford in two years.
Success, who last netted in the English topflight against Bournemouth in October 2016, hit target in the 80th minute, and said afterwards that it was a result of a training ground exercise by the whole team.
He admitted: ”I am so happy because I struggled last season, and coming back to the team and having a few opportunities from the coach.
”I think I have been trying to fit into the team and trying to do my best to make sure the team gets positive results whenever I am on the pitch.
”I am happy about it, the players are a lot focused to remember the tactics from the training ground, to apply it in the game.
”It is exciting to see doing what we do in previous trainings before the game and seeing it happening in the game.
“I will just keep working and concentrate on the next game. We just keep working and hopefully we get more wins.”
