Perugia are looking to secure the services of Nigeria youngster Kingsley Michael for at least one more season.
The 19-year-old has impressed since joining the club on a season long loan deal from Bologna at the beginning of the season.
The Serie B club are now determined to keep hold of the Nigeria youth international for at least one more year with his loan stint set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
But Bologna also want to swift return of their youth star with an intention of using him in a part-deal to sign their future targets.
There is also the possibility of Kingsley Michael playing more at Bologna on his return with the acquisition of regular first team experience at Perugia.
Bologna manager Filipo Inzaghi is also a known admirer of the Nigerian.
