The defender of Katsina United has come out to say the poor performance of the team in the on-going pre-season tournament in Kano is due to the team not playing any competitive friendly matches before the arrival of the team to Kano.
He said, Looking at our previous matches in the tournament, so far we have lost two consecutive games, due to match rustiness.
We need to play more good friendly matches to get acquainted to each others , and also playing to ascertain our fitness level as well.

The defender concluded by saying, I am totally sorry about my reaction in the field of play , i could not control my emotions then, but really and most importantly i regretted my Actions that led to the red card offence it doesn’t speak well of me.
