MFM FC take on Sunshine Stars in the Gov Wike Unity Cup Semi Final this morning; the Olukoya Boys are the form team, but the Owena Whales are fancied favourites.
“We all know that Sunshine Stars are a very impressive team and should not be taken lightly at all,” MFM FC head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu told Footballlive.ng.
“We have done well to get ourselves to this stage, but now it is up to our players to put in a good performance against Sunshine Stars who are obviously going into this match as favourites,” he continued.
“If we can replicate the form of our match against Excellent FC then I feel we stand a good chance of defeating them.”
The game will take place at the Sharks Stadium on Tuesday. Kickoff is at 8am.
