Home-based Super Eagles Skipper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has expressed his absolute excitement at being named the MOTM in last night’s cracker against Angola.

The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah goaltender was very happy with the overall effort of the Eagles team, as he admitted being at work fully against the difficult Angolan side.

In an exclusive interview on Brila FM this morning, Ezenwa told Tony Bekederemo that he is very happy, and he made a special praise of the Coach of the team, Salisu Yusuf.

“The Coach is a very very great man, he never gave up on us, I looked at the bench when its a minute to the end of the game and the man is still standing to ditch out instructions”, that shows he still believed in us”, Ezenwa stated.

The Enyimba FC of ABA man was also in praise of his teammates for putting in their best as the team came back from a goal down to advance to the next stage of the CHAN tournament.

“Everyone was amazing yesterday, and I was delighted” the defenders had a tough time yesterday, it happens in football, some other day, they have good times,” Ezenwa told brila FM.
