Akwa United of Uyo striker, Gabriel Okechukwu has attracted transfer interest from Raja Casablanca of Morocco, following his superlative performances at the Championship of African Nations (CHAN 2018).
With two crucial goals to his name heading into Sunday’s final against Morocco at CHAN 2018, Okechukwu is one of Nigeria’s shinning lights in the championship, such that interest from Raja appears justified.
The Casablanca-based side now aim to snatch him from Akwa United after the competition meant for only home-based players.
Top clubs in Switzerland and Norway are also said to be among suitors for the in-form striker, who has previously played for Kaparty of Ukraine.
