Terem Moffi has come under scrutiny from his teammate Dante due to his exuberant celebration following his second goal in OGC Nice’s sensational 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes on Friday night.

Moffi stood out as the star player, contributing two goals and an assist to propel Nice to a significant win against the reigning Ligue 1 champions.

Nevertheless, the Forward’s celebration after his second goal, which extended Nice’s lead to 3-1, sparked controversy.

The Nigerian removed his jersey, a gesture that did not sit well with PSG fans and seemed to provoke PSG players, most notably Kylian Mbappe.

“Terem has a lot of strength, he knows how to take depth. But the negative point is his 2nd goal and his celebration. You have to know how to stay with your feet on the ground,” as quoted by Foot Mercato.

Dante voiced his disappointment, suggesting that Moffi could have refrained from provoking the opposition.

Following his brace against PSG, the Nigerian has now notched three goals in five appearances this season.
