Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen has disclosed that he turned down significant offers from Saudi Arabia to remain with the Serie A club during the summer transfer window.

Saudi Arabian side, Al Hilal was reportedly keen on acquiring the services of Osimhen.

Napoli, however, rejected two offers from the Saudi club, for the Nigerian international, and he acknowledged that the offers were tempting, but he ultimately opted to stay with Napoli, reaffirming his commitment to the Italian club.

“I never thought of at first. But when this huge offer came from a Saudi club [Al-Hilal] it was tempting,” Osimhen said on Obionepodcast.

“It was a big one… I had three meetings & made up my mind to stick with the team.

“In August it was a huge decision for me to take. The more I said no to these people the more they increased their offer.

“It was literally like ‘wow’… they never gave up until the end of their transfer window.”
