Nigeria’s head coach, Jose Peseiro has dismissed reports suggesting that he has applied for the coaching position at the Egyptian club, Zamalek SC.

Contrary to rumors that he submitted his CV for the vacant coaching role at Zamalek, the 63-year-old coach emphasized that his primary focus remains on the Super Eagles job.

“At the present, all my focus is on the Nigerian national team only,” the Portuguese told btolat.com.

“There are no negotiations from Zamalek in any case and I am not thinking about anything else.”

The Portuguese tactician’s focus will be on ensuring the Super Eagles do well at the AFCON in Ivory Coast.
