Abdulahi Maikaba, the technical adviser for Kano Pillars, expresses optimism ahead of their clash with Rivers United in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The Sai Masu Gida will face Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Sunday for a matchday 24 fixture.
Maikaba emphasizes the team’s commitment to hard work, stating, “Our target is the same, as we will continue to work hard to achieve it.” Reflecting on their resilience, he recalls, “You can remember when we played a 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance in Kano; the next game we defeated Gombe United away, so I believe we will get a good result against Rivers United.”
Despite a previous 1-0 defeat to Rivers United, Maikaba remains optimistic about their performance in the upcoming match.
