The Super Eagles, Nigeria’s national football team, have fallen eight places in the latest FIFA rankings, now sitting at 38th in the world. This drop comes after poor performances in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
In their recent Matches, Nigeria drew South Africa and lost to Benin Republic in the World Cup Qualifiers.
These results have made it harder for the Super Eagles of Nigeria to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The team has only three points from four games and is four points behind Rwanda, the group leader.
