Super falcons star, Asisat Oshoala scored the only goal of the game as Bay FC claimed their 6th league win of the season against Racing Louisville.
The NWSL game between both teams was locked in until the 73rd minute, when Princess Marfo was fouled in the area for Bay FC. 29 year old Oshoala stepped up and converted from 12 yards, sending the opposition goalkeeper the wrong way for her third goal for the club.
Bay FC now have 18 points from their 15 games played, with 6 wins and 9 losses.
A related development was that Uchenna Kanu was absent from Louisville’s matchday squad.
