Sunshine Stars have announced that Abdulrafiu Taiwo, Osimaga Duke, and Lucky Nwafor are wanted after failing to report for pre-season training without the club’s permission.
The Owena Waves have issued a stern warning to other clubs and agents not to engage with the players regarding transfers without the club’s approval. Sunshine Stars emphasized that the trio are still under contract and any attempts to illegally secure their services will result in legal action.
In the meantime, the rest of the team is currently in Akure, preparing for the upcoming 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The club plans to participate in a series of friendlies before the new season kicks off.
