Former Liverpool defender, Steve Nicol believes that Super Eagles, striker Victor Osimhen would be a more prolific scorer for Arsenal than Kai Havertz.
In a recent interview, Nicol advised the Gunners to pursue the Nigerian international, highlighting Osimhen’s superior goal-scoring abilities compared to the German.
Nicol stated, “If somebody said to you, you can either have [Kai] Havertz or Victor Osimhen. Are you really going to take Havertz? You are not going to take him in a million years over Osimhen. So, if you can afford it, I agree with Shaka’s point.”
Nicol added, “When it really matters and you have only one chance in a game, again the question is, is it going to be Havertz or Osimhen? Everybody will say he scored in the Champions League final, but the truth is he takes too many chances to score that Osimhen won’t.”
