The Benue State Government has formed a new board following the discharge of the old management board of Nigeria Premier Football League team, Lobi Stars.
The new board will be led by Dr. Philip Nongu as the chairman.
The other members include Dr. Iorngulum Malu as secretary, along with Chief Solomon Andiir, Harry Yachi, Francis Ejiga, and Sir James Iorpuu.
This was announced in a statement by Solomon Iorpev, the Governor’s Technical Adviser on Media, Publicity, and Strategic Communication.
The new board is expected to begin work immediately.
Lobi Stars will kick off their 2024-25 season with a match against Akwa United on Monday.
