Manchester United Remains Committed to Erik Ten Hag

Date:

Manchester United’s management is currently standing by Erik Ten Hag despite mounting pressure following their 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.

According to report, club bosses, including Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford, remain committed to giving Ten Hag more time.

However, there is growing concern after two consecutive 3-0 home defeats to Liverpool and Spurs this season, along with a lackluster performance in the 1-1 draw with FC Twente.

Upcoming matches against FC Porto in the Europa League and Aston Villa in the Premier League are seen as important.

Should results not improve, United may consider changes, with the possibility of promoting assistant coach Ruud van Nistelrooy as a short-term option.

Van Nistelrooy, who has previous managerial experience with PSV Eindhoven, could be supported by fellow assistant Rene Hake.

While United’s board is cautious about making a knee-jerk decision, their poor start to the Premier League season — their joint-worst ever, with just seven points from six games — adds pressure to the situation.
