NO JUVENTUS! – Napoli President Shuts Door on Rival Move as Victor Osimhen Summer Exit Nears

Date:

Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis has delivered a firm message regarding Victor Osimhen future, insisting that the Super Eagles striker will not be sold to Juventus, despite ongoing speculation surrounding his next destination.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been in imperious form this season — scoring 29 goals and assisting six — and is now entering the final stretch of what has been a rejuvenating spell in Turkey.

His performances have reignited interest from top Premier League sides, with Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea all monitoring his situation closely.

However, speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss (via Calciomercato), De Laurentiis was unequivocal about where Osimhen won’t be heading:

No! Never at Juventus,” the Napoli chief declared, referencing interest from the Bianconeri. Despite the allure of a domestic transfer, Napoli are unwilling to strengthen a direct Serie A rival.

Breakdown with Napoli

Victor Osimhen’s fallout with Napoli’s board last summer — after trying to force a move away from the club — created tension that still lingers.

Though his revolt proved unsuccessful at the time, it led to his eventual loan to Galatasaray, where he has rediscovered top form under Okan Buruk.

The 26-year-old striker remains one of Europe’s most sought-after forwards, and with Napoli prepared to offload him permanently this summer, the race for his signature is heating up.

Premier League Calling for Victor Osimhen?

While a return to Napoli appears off the table, Osimhen’s next destination is far from certain. The Premier League looks the most likely destination, though interested clubs must be prepared to meet his hefty wage demands, which reportedly stand at around €10 million annually.

Victor Osimhen has previously acknowledged the speculation surrounding his future but maintains that he is focused on the present:

“There are always rumors about me, but I live the moment. Galatasaray will forever remain in my heart,” Osimhen told reporters.

Galatasaray Farewell Looms for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray fans are likely preparing for an emotional farewell as Victor Osimhen nears the end of his loan. Despite his bond with the club, it’s unlikely the Turkish champions can match the financial firepower of his Premier League suitors or secure a permanent deal.

With Romelu Lukaku aging and Napoli in need of fresh attacking options, Osimhen’s sale will also provide the Serie A side with funds to rebuild ahead of the 2025/26 season.

As the summer transfer window approaches, Victor Osimhen’s next chapter looks set to take him to one of Europe’s biggest stages. Whether it’s Old Trafford, the Emirates, or Stamford Bridge, one thing is clear — his time at Napoli is all but over.
