Ndidi’s Market Value Shoots Up To €25m

Date:

Leicester City of England midfielder, Wilfred Onyinyen Ndidi has soared in value, following his sterling roles with the Super Eagles at this year’s World Cup, as he is now rated Nigeria’s most expensive player at €25m.

In spite of the Super Eagles’ inability to go beyond the first round at Russia 2018, Ndidi is one of few players in the team who excelled, such that he is now garnering superlative reviews and valuation after the global soccer showpiece.

Consequently, Ndidi, who grabbed several individual high marks during the Mundial, is now rated as the most expensive Nigerian player at the moment, with a market value of €25m, followed by Chelsea right-wing-back, Victor Moses at €20m.

Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi is at €15m, Kenneth Omeruo is now valued at €1.75m, while Odion Jude Ighalo, Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo (Simy) and Abdullahi Shehu are valued at €9.5m, €1.5m and €0.85m respectively.

Eagles’ substitute goalkeepers, Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa also have their cash values increase to €650,000 and €150,000 respectively.

Bursaspor defender William Troost-Ekong, who went the distance in all of Nigeria’s three matches at the World Cup is now rated at €2m, while skipper of the side, John Mikel Obi is €5.5m and Torino of Italy ace, Joel Chukwuma Obi is on €5m.
