A bizarre story involving AC Milan, Karim Benzema, the striker’s agent, and a pair of Italian journalists has been gaining widespread attention online over the last 24 hours.
The four-time European champion has been at the Bernabeu since moving from Lyon in 2009.
However, Benzema has been left furious by suggestions he would take Cristiano Ronaldo’s steps and join Juventus at San Siro
The journalist claimed that Benzema’s representatives met with the Milan hierarchy via an intermediary.
This seems to have infuriated the Real Madrid man and so he hit out.
He posted on Instagram: “You’re the one who needs to change jobs #liar.”
