It was a rather forgettable night for Spanish giants Real Madrid after suffering defeat to Manchester United in pre-season, but one player in particular will remember it for the rest of his life.
Real Madrid youth player Sergio Lopez, who made his debut for Los Blancos after coming on in the 62nd minute, waited behind after the final whistle to meet his opponent, Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez’s teammate, Ander Herrera, eventually helped the 19-year-old with his request and after another encounter with a Manchester United staff member, the right back eventually received Sanchez’s shirt as a gift.
Just look at his reaction. He looks star-struckby everything and everyone around him.
