Victor Moses quits Int’l football to focus on Chelsea and his “Young Family”

Super Eagles winger, Victor Moses has Today announced his international retirement from football.

In a open letter, the 27 year-old stated he had informed the Nigeria football authorities and the national team coach, Gernot Rohr of his decision.

 

The player made his debut for Nigeria in 2012 and won the African Cup of Nations a year later.

In that time, the player earned 37 caps and scored 12 goals in the process.

In the letter, he posted on social media, Moses gave reasons for his sudden retirement.

The Chelsea player said he’d like to concentrate on club commitments and on his “young family”.

Moses played his last competitive game for Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, where the country exited in the group stages.
