Abia Warriors Coach Vows to Bounce Back

Date:

Abia Warriors head coach, Bethel Oji, has assured fans that his team will recover from their goalless draw against Bendel Insurance.

The Umuahia-based club was held to a 0-0 draw in their matchday 35 encounter on Sunday, leaving Oji disappointed with his team’s inability to capitalize on scoring opportunities.

“When you refuse to take your chances, you will regret it,” Oji told the club’s Media. “We will use all we have to prosecute the match against Gombe United.”

He added, “We want to assure our supporters that we will escape relegation and work on the lapses identified against Bendel Insurance.”

Abia Warriors will face Gombe United at the Pantami Stadium this weekend, where they aim to secure a crucial win to avoid relegation.
