Abu Azeez hit a landmark of 103 goals in Beach Soccer on Wednesday as he helped the Super Sand Eagles secure a spot in the final of the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.
Abu Azeez netted a haul in Nigeria’s 7-6 win over host nation Egypt, who were undefeated until the semis, at the Laguna Vista in Sharm El-Sheikh. At the last edition of the Beach Soccer AFCON he managed only four goals as Nigeria finished as runner-up behind Senegal. So far he has notched up 7 goals, six shy of his tournament high 13 goals scored in 2013, at the sixth edition of the competition.
