Former Shooting Stars of Ibadan winger, Emmanuel Abayomi Adebayo has stated delight his performance for Bromma Pojkarna of Sweden against BK Häcken last weekend.
Although his side lost the match 6-0 against their hosts, Adebayo insists there was nothing to be ashamed of, because his team fought till the final whistle.
The result took Bromma Pojkarna to 14th spot in the 16 team Swedish Allsvenskan table, but Adebayo is happy that he played his own part in trying to get a better ending.
Adebayo, who grew up in Ebute Metta area of Lagos and once had a stint at FC Ebedie of Shagamu, took to social media to reveal his impressions after the game.
He philosophised that it was a great experience for his side, and hinted that he was able to show his strength and staying power in the mammoth pounding of his team.
Adebayo posted: “We lost but we didn’t lose our head we still took the playing to them. Great experience Strong Emma.”
