Super Eagles and Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman says he and his team is ready to deliver their best performance when they face Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday.
Ademola Lookman single-handedly ended Atalanta’s 51-year trophy drought, scoring an historic hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final last May.
The 26-year old aims to add another trophy to his achievements and help his team secure back to back titles, this time in Warsaw.
Lookman and his teammates are ready to take on Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded Real Madrid squad, featuring new signings Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Jr despite being not being the most favorited and tagged the underdogs.
“These are the games you dream about as a child, and now the moment has come,” Lookman told Tribal Football.
“We won the Europa League, and now we’re playing for another trophy. We can’t wait; we are preparing with obsessive attention. So yes, we will be ready!”

Ademola Lookman, last season, scored 15 goals and provided eight assists across all competitions,m for Atalanta.
He was named Atalanta’s 2023-2024 best player and also, was included in the Europa League Team of the Season.
