Adetiba Glad To Seal Deal With Gunners

Date:

Former SuperSport United of South Africa academy kid, Jayden Adetiba says he is happy and very excited with the deal he has sealed at Arsenal of England.

After impressing during five weeks of trials with The Gunners, the 9-year-old has signed a deal in North London.

Adetiba, who spent most of his early life in South Africa, was groomed at SuperSport United Soccer School.

The kid’s father, John Adetiba disclosed that his son is delighted with his successful signing of the Arsenal contract, as he tweeted: “The little man joins the big club!!”

He further disclosed that all the Adetibas love football, adding: “Jayden’s older brother spent three years at the Blackburn Rovers Academy and recently signed with Ebbsfleet United Academy. Our middle son is also playing football and recently signed with a local team.”

The new signing, who adores Cristiano Ronaldo and rates Super Eagles ace, Alex Iwobi as his favourite Arsenal player, also revealed his mood after signing the dotted lines.

He said: “I thank God and my parents for this. I am very happy. The amazing thing is, I have always been an Arsenal fan and I will work hard every day to make the first team.

“I train three times a week at the academy and we have a match at the weekend. I want to be like Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Iwobi.

“Ronaldo because of his hard work, and Iwobi because he was at the Arsenal academy at the age of seven and now plays for the first team.”
